creative talent and a knack for analysis, business and marketing. Kate oversees all account management, recruitment, and client relationships for Pulp, Inc. Having deep experience in both large and small-scale projects for
Fortune 500 clients and emerging businesses including Microsoft,
Starbucks, Safeco Insurance and others, Kate’s
expertise lies in developing innovative and viable marketing and
communication solutions through assembly of virtual teams.
Kate is
an experienced, dynamic and entrepreneurial person who thrives on
delivering truly outstanding marketing and communications consulting
services.
Kate holds a B.A. from the University of Washington. She is a member of
the International Association of Business Communicators and the
Northwest Entrepreneur Network.

Pulp recently signed designer Estee Ochoa as Creative Director after Ochoa wrote and directed Pulp Lab #1; the first short film from a branding art installation series conceived by Ochoa and Pawlicki.
Ochoa started her career in New York City as Fashion Editor of the cutting edge publication, Vibe Magazine. Ochoa's contributions helped lead to the successful launch of Vibe and the eventual growth to a circulation of one million.
As a freelance creative director and stylist, she has created the images of some of music’s most renowned recording artists. Her design aesthetic has spanned into many arms from retail interiors, visual merchandising, art direction, international print campaigns, commercials and designing for feature films.
She enjoys pop culture and remains current by contributing to various magazines and sites such as InStyle, 944, Elle and GQ. She also agents her own roster of creative talents, who hail from the worlds of music, fashion, art and film. Her company clients include J. Crew, Nordstrom, Microsoft, Interscope, Nike, Ace Hotels, Fox Sports, Coca-Cola and NBC.
Ochoa lives in Seattle and Los Angeles. She holds a BA in Art History and Film Production from Loyola Marymount University.

Jan Gelman is the principal of Jan Gelman & Associates. In her role as a leadership coach and organizational development consultant she combines compassion, inquiry, understanding and directness to help leaders get to the heart of their challenges. Whether working with CEOs or front-line personnel, Jan believes that her clients are fully capable and that her role is to help them rise to their potential. Her approach is to link individual and group behavioral development to business results. She works collaboratively with her clients through executive coaching, team development, group facilitation, change management and customized training. Jan has been an internal leadership consultant for Washington State’s Labor and Industries and has consulted independently with organizations such as Microsoft, Bug Music, Whitepages.com, CarDomain, ShareBuilder, SumTotal Systems, King County Metro Transit, FareStart and Gage Academy of Art. She is also a preferred partner with Bluepoint Leadership Development and an associate with Merriweather Training and Development. Her consultation draws upon more than 20 years of experience as a leader in business, communications, media, technology, and product development. She has managed sales, service, and product-related teams; and held executive positions in small and large companies, including GiftCertificates.com, Sierra On-Line, and Capital Cities/ABC. As a freelance writer and journalist, Jan has written numerous business and lifestyle articles and published eight books for young adults.
Jan holds a Master of Arts degree in applied behavioral science (focus on coaching and consulting in organizations) from the Leadership Institute of Seattle at Bastyr University and a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
